The newly released trailer introduces us to Renee, a teenage girl who forms an unlikely bond with a monstrous alien after it crash-lands near her home in the desert.
This emotional yet thrilling tale shows Renee juggling life with her distant mother and abusive stepfather while secretly protecting her mysterious extraterrestrial friend. As government agents close in, the two embark on a suspenseful journey that challenges the meaning of friendship, loyalty, and morality.
Starring Lulu Wilson, Omari Hardwick, Trae Romano, Wrenn Schmidt, and Paul Schneider, XENO promises heartfelt moments and practical effects — including creature design by the legendary Jim Henson’s Creature Shop.
Directed and written by Matthew Loren Oates, XENO is his directorial debut and releases in theaters nationwide on September 19, 2025, through Blue Fox Entertainment.
