Fathom Entertainment has just unleashed a brand-new trailer for Primitive War, the explosive dino-action thriller from director Luke Sparke — and announced special theatrical screenings starting August 21.
Set in Vietnam, 1968, the story follows an elite recon team called Vulture Squad, sent deep into an isolated jungle to investigate a missing Green Beret unit. But what they find is far worse than enemy fire: prehistoric monsters are lurking in the trees.
With a cast led by Jeremy Piven, Tricia Helfer, Ryan Kwanten, and Nick Wechsler, the film throws you into an intense blend of military warfare and Jurassic terror. Based on the popular graphic novel, Primitive War combines the raw brutality of classic Vietnam war films with monstrous sci-fi horror.
