After a 14-year hiatus, the Final Destination franchise is back with Final Destination: Bloodlines, hitting theaters and IMAX on May 16, 2025. This new chapter dives even deeper into the series’ twisted mythos, delivering jaw-dropping deaths, edge-of-your-seat suspense, and a chilling generational twist.
Directed by Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein, the story follows Stefani Lewis, a college student haunted by visions of a deadly event that happened decades before her birth. Returning to her hometown, she learns her family once cheated death — and now fate is returning to finish the job.
One of the film’s most talked-about features is a 1960s-set opening at the fictional Skyview Tower, featuring a record-breaking stunt by 71-year-old stuntwoman Yvette Ferguson, who performs a full-body burn — the oldest person ever to do so on camera.
The cast blends fresh faces with franchise legacy, including the return of Tony Todd as the enigmatic mortician William Bludworth — in what is expected to be his final role before his death in 2024.
