The story follows Iris (Kelsey Asbille), a grieving woman seeking peace deep in an isolated forest. Her retreat quickly turns into a nightmare when she encounters a stranger (Wittrock) who injects her with a paralyzing agent. With only 20 minutes before she loses all mobility, Iris must fight, run, and outwit her captor to survive.
In an exclusive clip shared by People, Iris is seen immobilized in the back of a truck, whispering “help” to a police officer, who soon discovers a syringe and zip ties – raising the stakes and amplifying the tension.
Asbille described the film as “a propulsive, stripped-down thriller that also feels deeply personal. It’s about fighting desperately to overcome something that leaves you feeling paralyzed.” Raimi praised the script as a “nonstop page-turner” and called the film “a moving experience, especially for a suspense thriller.”
