Fans of the iconic demonic trickster Betelgeuse can now enjoy “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” from the comfort of their homes. The sequel to the beloved 1988 classic, directed by Tim Burton, was released on digital platforms on October 8, 2024, just a month after its theatrical debut.

Featuring the return of Michael Keaton as the mischievous Betelgeuse, alongside Winona Ryder and Catherine O’Hara reprising their roles, the film also introduces Jenna Ortega as Astrid, Lydia Deetz’s teenage daughter. The story follows Astrid’s encounter with the Afterlife, forcing Lydia to once again call on Betelgeuse to save the day.

While critics had mixed opinions about the film, audiences embraced the nostalgia, driving it to an impressive $403 million at the global box office against its $100 million budget. However, Warner Bros. moved the film to digital platforms just 4.5 weeks after its theatrical release, part of the growing trend of premium video-on-demand releases.

How to Watch at Home
“Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” is now available to rent and buy on platforms like Amazon Prime, Apple TV, and Vudu. Prices start at $19.99 for a rental and $24.99 for purchase. For fans of physical media, the movie will also be released on 4K UHD, DVD, and Blu-Ray on November 19, with special features including a commentary by Tim Burton, behind-the-scenes documentaries, and exclusive insights into the making of the film.

When Will It Stream on Max?
Warner Bros. has announced that “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” will begin streaming on Max on December 6, 2024. As part of Warner Bros.’ distribution strategy, fans can look forward to accessing the movie on Max just in time for the holidays.
