Dracula: Immortal Dark Love – Luc Besson’s Gothic Romance Unveils Trailer and Release Date

Distributor Paris Filmes has released the official poster and first trailer for Dracula: A Love Tale, the new gothic horror and romance directed and written by Luc Besson (Lucy, The Fifth Element). The film is set to premiere in Brazilian cinemas on August 7, 2025.

Based on Bram Stoker’s legendary character, the film stars Christoph Waltz, Caleb Landry Jones, Matilda De Angelis, and Zoë Bleu.

The plot follows a 15th-century prince who, devastated by the loss of his beloved wife, turns away from God and becomes a vampire. Centuries later, in Victorian London, he sees a woman who looks exactly like his late wife and becomes obsessed with her, sealing his fate in a tragic cycle of dark love.

The film is produced by LBP Productions, EuropaCorp, and Actarus, with producers Virginie Besson-Silla and Philippe Corrot.

🧛 The Origin of Dracula:

The iconic vampire was popularized by Bram Stoker in his 1897 novel, though the vampire myth existed long before. Stoker drew partial inspiration from Vlad the Impaler, blending Eastern European folklore with Victorian gothic to create the archetypal seductive, monstrous vampire that shaped pop culture forever.

A passion that defies time. Get ready for the darkest romance of the year – trailer out now!
